There is a time and a season for everything under the sun.

Ecclesiastes; chapter 3 “To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heavens”.

In the natural we go through seasonal changes, that is standing it cannot be changed or moved by men.  We all have experienced the winter, autumn, spring and the so ever Lovely summer season.  When we read the book of creations Genesis chapter 1:3-5 verse 3 “God said let there be light and there was light”. Verse 4 in the same chapter reads “and God saw the light that it was good and God divided the light from the darkness. Verse 5a “God called the light day, and the darkness he called night.”

Every season comes with a purpose, it is important that we embrace every season like nature does. We have learned that oranges are seasonal fruits, they are at their best taste in winter yes in winter.  We see most trees falling apart in winter, the leaves falls off, the branches dry out, there is no shade. Our beautiful green gardens are now brown not green anymore, but the roots are not shaken nor moved. The trunk of the tree is still standing, it does not break through the seasons. It stands the test of time, the season seems long but it is not forever. The trees comes back to life is spring, they look better, produce better. Just like gold in order for it to make that beautiful jewelry it has to be refined. When it goes through the fire, from the outside it looks like it is being destroyed. When it comes out it looks better than we anticipated and its value has increased.

It is the same in our walk with God, we will go through our winter season, it’s not comfortable and it is not easy. Like trees we need to be grounded and rooted in the word of God.  He confirms it in his word Hebrews 13 v 5 “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”

Whatever challenges we face we need to remember that it is seasonal. Our troubles will not last forever, we will rise above them. We will come out stronger Christians, believing in God more, trusting in all his might because we know that it is seasonal and has a purpose. As we face our trial let us remember that Victory is Ours. When we go through our darkest hour, we celebrate because we know that after the night day (Light) will follow. WINTER will not remain forever, it has to make way for spring. YOUR PAIN, YOUR TROUBLE IT WILL NOT LAST FOREVER, IT IS SEASONAL. MIGHT SEEM LONG BUT IT WILL SURELY PASS.

When night comes we are confident that we will see the light. That’s is the principle of God. Our trials are not meant to destroy us but to strengthen us. We will bear fruits when this season pass. We can never understand why we go through our winter but in order for us to experience the beautiful summer in our lives we need to go through our winter. The word of God teaches us that Christ went through tests and trials. When Christ was crucified the churches thought it was the end, it was in his suffering that we received life. He had to be crucified so that we may live. God gave up his only son, so that we may live. When we read James 1 v 2-4 “My brethren count it all joy when ye fall into divers’ temptation; 3 knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing”.

My brethren as night comes surely day will also come. As we face our Trials and Tribulation remember God is on your side. As we go through seasonal challenges God is faithful to carry us through these season.  Stay with the Lord he will carry you through your winter, autumn, spring and when you experiencing your Breakthrough (summer) you can surely say this is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

Ecclesiastes 3 v 11 “He hath made everything beautiful in his time; also he hath set the world in their heart so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from beginning to the End.”

MAY THE LORD KEEP AND STRENGTHEN US AS WE REJOICE IN EVERY SEASON.

GOD BLESS YOU.
