Schools-Reach-Out Mr. Johannes Kutoane Responsible for schools reach- ministry Schools reach out Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD Psalm 34: 10 The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing Mark 16:15 -18 And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover." The schools ministry team is founded on the conviction that our country is doomed if Christ is not at the centre of education and the solution to all social ills. It is also on the knowledge that our young people are strong and can be great agents of positive change as evidenced by the 1976 uprising that precipitated the downfall of the apartheid system. We also acknowledges that there is no education system that will succeed if it excludes Jesus from being in the boat and have a clear understanding that Jesus came to bring abundant life to all, our objectives is to assist every learner and by extension their families to know the fullness of Christ’s promises and love for humanity and His provision and care for their educational and future needs. With this in mind, we minister to school staff and learners about the importance of the cross and the blood of Jesus in bringing holistic breakthroughs and healing that will not be provided by mainstream education. Working together with the school staff / RLC we arrange a time suitable to conduct services / talks that allows us to: Minister in the good news of God to learners Lay hands on the sick and cast out demons Offer one-on-one counselling Pray for individual needs Our ministers are dedicated servants of God, who seek only to exalt Christ as they minister, bringing about sustainable and long-term change to the learners and their community as they are transformed. Ultimately, our goal is that working together with the education department, we can produce academic and moral leaders that can take this country forward with great distinction, while arresting the scourge of teenage delinquency, pregnancies and substance abuse.
